Steve has twenty two years of experience working with wineries in California, New York and Rhode Island. He is a Graduate of Johnson & Wales Advanced Wine Program and on the Board of the Coastal Wine Group. He also has a B.A., M.F. from Duke University and an MBA from The Wharton School. ~~~~~~~~ Debra has been the owner and Innkeeper of the Rockwell House Inn in Bristol RI for 18 years. She has had her recipes printed in major publications and cookbooks as well as a featured recipe in Bon Apetit. We have been sharing our passion for wine together for almost 20 years. Steve represented Newport vineyards, while Debra promoted Wine Entertainment Resources...the 'road company' of the New England Wine School, as well as representing Women & Wine - www.womenwine.com. Women & Wine was founded in California and is attempting to reach the Northeast. It is a web based company that serves as a resource for women (ok..guys too!) with an interest in wine, travel and lifestyle experiences that link these together. Wine events are sponsored by Women & Wine. Our mission is to get women in the Providence and Boston area interested in attending Women & Wine events. Watch for Giada's Weekend Getaways in 2007 where she will be featuring the TOP 10 things to do while in Newport. We were selected for our wine classes that we give aboard the Adirondack II. (and YES!...She is as sweet in person as she apppears!) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Rhode Island Chapter of the American Red Cross Steve, along with Chef Frank Terranova demonstrated their respective skills for the Rhode Island Chapter of the American Red Cross ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Crystal Symphony set sail... and we were aboard! ON OCTOBER 20, 2006 we were the wine experts aboard the Crystal Symphony for an 11 day Fall Foliage Wine and Food Festival Cruise. We traveled roundtrip from New York to Canada, including a stop in Newport, RI! We gave 2 wine tastings featuring the local New England Wineries averaging 100 people per session. Passengers came from across the country and we had the good fortune to meet some truly wonderful people. Crystal passengers (guests) are like a family...they come back again and again. If you have never sailed with the Crystal Cruise line..We HIGHLY recommend it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chris Gasparro and ' the GIRLS' from Party by Design got in on the team building act! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ McCormick and Schmick's Wine Dinner We partnered with McCormick and Schmick's in Providence for a wine dinner with Bruce Newbury as he reported live on WHJJ. Executive Chef Tony Hernandez wowed us with a spectacular menu paired with local wines. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bachelor Party at Gracie's We entertained and educated friends and 3 generations of family at this lively bachelor party We started by 'getting naked'... Naked Chardonnay!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 'TOUR RHODE ISLAND' Those that selected the Providence City Tour lucked out when their excursion included our wine and cheese pairing class at Gracies ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ UNITED BROTHERS SYNAGOGUE (Bristol, RI) KOSHER WINE TASTING This event was a great open house for a membership drive! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Johnson and Wales Wine Pairing with Chef Demo JW student chef demostrates and serves up Bananas Foster for this FAM tour as a follow-up to a blind wine tasting. The dessert paired beautifully with Newport Vineyards Ice Wine ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ EVENTS OF OUR INAUGURAL YEAR! 2005 Spiced Pear Restaurant at the Chanler Hotel in Newport... Steve offered his expertise for a 7 course wine dinner for travel writers ~ September '05

Fun was had by all. (Names may be changed to protect the innocent! ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
